Recipe Time Baked "Fried" Chicken
Okay so thought I would share a recipe and see what people thought. And if anyone wants a sample Krista says she will gladly provide one :-)
Baked "Fried" Chicken
Ingredients
- 6oz chicken breast
- Melba rounds ( Garlic Flavor ) crushed
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp garlic power
- pinch of red pepper flakes
- 1/2 egg white
Preheat oven to 400 F . In a shallow bowl, combine crushed melba rounds and spices. Place egg white in another shallow bowl. Dip Chicken in egg white, then dredge in crumb mixture. Place chicken in a small baking pan. Spray chicken with "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" spray. Bake for 20 min or until done.
You can add other spices to the melba rounds as you wish just stay away from high sodium spices. I usually serve with a salad or green beans.
If anyone has any recipes they would like to share please let me know and I can get those posted as well.

Pick a goal and go get it
If you want it go get it. So thought I would take a little time to write a post about me and where I am coming from. So 3 years ago I decided it was finally time to get my act together with the whole unhealthy weight thing so I made it my focus to loose weight. And I was successful I lost 160 lbs. It was not easy by any means and required a lot of dedication and discipline but it was do able and not an impossible feat. One step forward one day at a time anything can be achieved. I had my setbacks but just get plugging away and I got there. Throughout the process I relied on my own understanding rather than GOD I didn't involve GOD in the process and even though I reached my goal weight physically I was never there mentally and spiritually so ultimately I hadn't reached success. This time around I am going to follow Proverbs 3:5 - Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
This won't be easy but with GOD on my side this time I can accomplish anything. And with the support of all you great things will happen. In my journey first time around I developed a passion or exercise and specifically running and triathlon. I ran numerous 5k's, 10k's and half marathon as well as sprint triathlons and I had a goal of completing a full IRON MAN triathlon and was signed up to do IRON MAN Arizona but an injury set me back and I had to withdraw from the race and life kind of spiraled away from me from that point on . I really lost my faith and am quite embarrassed to have put 120 lbs back on. Through prayer my faith has been restored and through the awesome idea of Barb the spark has been reunited in me and time to hit the ground running. I look forward to being on the journey with all of you and if any of you need any help or advice or just want to talk I am happy to be there to help and pay back forward of what little I do know. I would challenge you to each pick something you want and go get it. Mine is that IRON MAN triathlon that is my goal and I will cross that finish line as I really want a IRON MAN tattoo so that is what I am choose to use as my goal and I am going to chase it down with a passion and will glorify GOD in the process and use him as my savior my rock and my guide.
Are you drinking your water
I love water and have no problem drinking water but realize that some people might struggle to drink water which is such a vital role to success so Krista the pinterest queen found this and thought I would pass it along to others as was a good idea. I challenge you all to drink at least 64 oz of water a day.
